Viraj Naik
Viraj Vassant Naik (born 1975, Goa, India) is a contemporary visual artist based in Goa. He completed his formal art education at the Goa College of Art in 1998 and went on to pursue advanced studies at the Sarojini Naidu School of Fine Art, Golden Threshold, Hyderabad, in 2000.
In 2012, Naik was selected as an Artist-in-Residence at the Frans Masereel Centrum, Belgium—a significant milestone in his international artistic journey. He currently lives and works from his studio, “Graphikos,” located in Kesarval, Quelossim, Goa.
Actively practicing since 2000, Naik has consistently engaged with the contemporary art scene through extensive participation in solo and group exhibitions, international biennials, triennials, and graphic art exhibitions across India and abroad.
